Job Description
Robotics Technologies is hiring an AI Engineer for an onsite role in Dallas, TX focused on turning AI/ML and LLM or agentic ideas into working prototypes and deployable solutions. The work blends research and evaluation with hands-on cloud-based architecture and workflows, including validating performance, safety, and operational readiness.
What you’ll do
- Lead R&D on AI/ML technologies and architectures, applying the right approach for the use case.
- Deploy AI/LLM and agentic applications to support proof-of-concept demonstrations, then help scale successful efforts toward production.
- Explore and implement traditional AI, Gen AI, and Agentic AI techniques.
- Keep up with evolving AI trends and evangelize emerging technologies internally.
- Evaluate and pilot third-party AI solutions to assess scalability and business value.
- Prototype solutions to guide future productization.
- Collaborate on data preparation and synthetic data generation strategies.
- Validate model performance, safety, and operational readiness.
- Contribute to AI system architecture and manage cloud workflows.
- Collaborate with AI Business Partners throughout development and delivery.
Skills and requirements
- Python, plus experience using APIs, ML frameworks, and AI tooling.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Codex, Claude Code, LangChain, ADK, ChatGPT, and MS Copilot.
- Experience with LLMs including OpenAI GPTs, Google AI, and Claude.
- Experience working with embeddings and vector databases.
- Ability to build and manage API integrations.
- Core competencies in Prompt Engineering, Model Evaluation & Design, and AI Architecture Design.
- Knowledge of data preparation and generation, including synthetic data approaches.
- Cloud experience with AWS and GCP.

- Pay: Hourly rate depending on experience (DOE)
