Job Description

A Data Scientist III focused on SCOT inbound planning at Amazon in Bellevue, WA, builds models to optimize inventory placement and product flows across networks to improve customer experience while reducing costs and carbon footprint.

Responsibilities

Design and implement mathematical models to optimize inventory placement and product flows across networks.
Develop statistical and optimization models for supply chain planning under uncertainty.
Manage multiple high impact projects concurrently.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across teams to identify opportunities to optimize the supply chain.
Present data-driven insights and recommendations to diverse senior stakeholders through technical or business briefs.

Requirements

Experience with statistical modeling, including multinomial logistic regression.
Experience working as a Data Scientist.
Experience with data scripting languages (SQL, Python, R, etc.) or statistical/mathematical software (R, SAS, Matlab).
