Role Overview
The Central Learning Solutions (CLS) Science team within Amazon Operations builds solutions to enhance leadership and associate development across the organization. The team develops technology and mechanisms for creating personalized learning experiences based on different learner profiles and evaluating post-training performance curves for those profiles. This position supports driving the data science roadmap for CLS Science.
The work includes leveraging statistics and econometrics to estimate the causal impact of training interventions, recommend appropriate interventions for specific learner profiles, and measure post-launch success of interventions using A/B weblabs. Insights from these analyses support dynamically changing training content in Learning and Development courses and identifying opportunities to improve both training effectiveness and learner experience.
The role also involves collaborating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to solve business problems, create operational efficiencies, and deliver against high organizational standards.
