Job Description

Join Cerebras Systems in a hands-on Developer Relations role where you turn fast inference experiments into developer-ready examples. This hybrid position in Sunnyvale, CA blends prototyping, workflow debugging, performance investigation, and technical communication, with the goal of helping developers understand what works, why it works, and how to apply it.

What you’ll do

  • Write blogs, tutorials, walkthroughs, and practical guides backed by your own experiments.
  • Build and improve sample applications, notebooks, and interactive experiences that demonstrate Cerebras fast inference.
  • Create and refine model-adjacent code and workflows, including prompts, tool use, context management, orchestration, and evaluation.
  • Debug and improve agent workflows, identifying bottlenecks and testing ideas to improve speed, reliability, and output quality.
  • Try new models and assess their capabilities, limitations, and fit across different task types.
  • Compare model behavior on realistic workloads and turn findings into examples and recommendations.
  • Design practical tests, measure results, and validate technical claims with evidence.
  • Keep your code runnable and explain the assumptions, tradeoffs, and limitations behind your conclusions.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and New Media to produce technically accurate launch examples, workshops, and stories.
  • Present your work and support developers in applying it through direct engagement and technical troubleshooting.
  • Engage with developers to address integration issues, then convert recurring questions and friction into improvements to examples, documentation, and the product experience.

What we’re looking for

  • A strong portfolio of AI applications, prototypes, technical writing, tutorials, or other substantive developer-facing work.
  • Hands-on experience building with model APIs and debugging AI application workflows.
  • Excellent technical writing skills, with the ability to explain complex implementations or experimental outcomes clearly and usefully.
  • Experience with agent harnesses or related workflows involving prompting, tool calling, context management, and evaluation.
  • Curiosity about the AI developer ecosystem and an informed perspective on new models, frameworks, and emerging application patterns.
  • Strong technical judgment to design fair comparisons, verify results, and separate observations from assumptions.
  • Original ideas for demos and developer experiences, with a clear sense for what makes an example useful and engaging.
  • Ability to scope projects, ship independently, incorporate feedback, and collaborate with technical and creative partners.

Helpful experience (preferred)

  • Experience optimizing latency, responsiveness, or reliability in AI applications.
  • Contributions to open-source projects, developer tools, or publicly available technical examples.
  • Experience teaching developers through workshops, talks, or live demonstrations.
