AI Engineer, Trading Ops & Management

In this hybrid role in New York, you will help evolve Crypto.com’s trading infrastructure across trading operations, risk monitoring and control, and AI-driven development. The position focuses on using Python, machine learning, and LLM-based tooling to automate workflows, strengthen risk modeling, and deliver real-time performance visualization.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of trades across multi-asset classes.
• Build agentic AI workflows in Python, applying MLOps practices to automate manual operations and reconciliation processes.
• Run daily P&L attribution and explain variance by breaking down market moves, Greeks, and new activity.
• Use AI/ML frameworks such as the OpenAI API, LangChain, and local LLMs to create intelligent agents for anomaly detection in trade data and to generate automated commentary for P&L reporting.
• Maintain data integrity across trading systems, middle-office platforms, and downstream finance ledgers.
• Create reporting and analysis for trading performance and support ad hoc business analytics.
• Develop and maintain real-time, AI-driven risk models using machine learning to predict market volatility and alert the desk to emerging cross-market risks.
• Design and maintain sophisticated risk reporting dashboards for the desk.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Expert proficiency in Python for AI/ML and strong SQL skills.
• Experience building agentic AI workflows is a significant advantage.
• Working knowledge of P&L attribution, financial controls, and market risk indicators including Greeks and VaR, along with familiarity with financial markets and products.
• A systems-thinking approach to operations, treating manual tasks as issues to be automated.
• Ability to succeed in a high-intensity environment and work extended hours when needed to meet global trading demands.

Compensation and Location

• Salary: USD 80,000 - 130,000 per year
