Job Description

Johnson Health Tech North America Inc is seeking an AI and Machine Learning Developer to support mobile fitness applications. The role focuses on researching, designing, and prototyping AI features that use large language models and AWS services to deliver more personalized user experiences, in collaboration with Android development teams.

Role Responsibilities

  • Research, design, and implement AI/ML solutions for mobile fitness applications.
  • Develop and fine-tune large language models to support natural language interactions and personalization.
  • Build scalable backend services using AWS technologies such as AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
  • Create a production-ready MLOps pipeline and deploy inference endpoints using AWS services including SageMaker and Bedrock.
  • Collaborate with Android developers to integrate AI features into client-side applications.
  • Produce prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new AI-driven features.
  • Keep current with emerging AI/ML technologies and best practices.
  • Maintain compliance with data privacy and security standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and large language models.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services used for AI/ML deployment.
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks, including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and working within microservices architecture.
