Business Systems & Data Analyst

MTI Distribution is seeking a Business Systems & Data Analyst to support and optimize core business systems while advancing data, reporting, automation, and AI initiatives. This onsite role in Brooklyn Center, MN focuses on Power BI reporting, workflow automation, system troubleshooting, and close collaboration with business leaders to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize ERP, CRM, and business applications, including Infor CSD, Infor ISM, Infor BIRST, and Salesforce.
• Troubleshoot system issues and help ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and business insights using Power BI.
• Design and implement workflow automation using Power Automate, Infor RPA, and AI tools.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
• Support data-driven decision-making through analytics and reporting.
• Evaluate and implement emerging AI technologies to improve business performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor between business teams and technology solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (preferred).
• 6+ years of experience supporting business systems, data analytics, and process automation.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience supporting ERP platforms, preferably Infor CSD, Infor ISM, and BIRST.
• Experience supporting CRM systems, including Salesforce.
• Proficiency with Power BI for reporting, dashboard development, and business analytics.
• Experience with workflow automation tools, including Power Automate and Infor RPA.
• Exposure to AI-enabled business solutions, including Infor GenAI, LLMs, and agent-based technologies.
• Strong capabilities in troubleshooting, systems integration, and business process improvement.
• Ability to develop and maintain dashboards, workflows, and scalable business solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with both technical and business teams.
• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• A continuous improvement mindset and a focus on using technology, automation, and AI to drive business results.

• Salary: USD 110,000 - 140,000 per year
