Job Description

The Data Analyst / Front-End App Developer will design, construct, and maintain analytics and front-end data applications that support Purchasing data products. The role delivers dashboards, key performance indicators, alerts, and user interfaces under the guidance of a Data & AI Product Owner to enable business users to access and act on Purchasing data efficiently. This position is on-site in Auburn Hills, MI.

Responsibilities

  • Design dashboards, reports, and front-end data applications aligned to product requirements; implement interactive views, filters, and intuitive interfaces within approved standards; ensure analytics outputs are clear, accurate, and consistent with business definitions.
  • Analyze Purchasing data to identify trends, exceptions, and actionable insights; validate data correctness and consistency in collaboration with the Data Manager and Product Owner; support root-cause analysis by surfacing data patterns and anomalies.
  • Translate Product Owner requirements into functional analytics deliverables; assist with testing, validation, and release of data products; contribute to incremental improvements based on user feedback and usage patterns.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and UX partners as needed; apply lessons learned to improve future deliveries; adhere to agreed development, documentation, and quality practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
