Job Description

Matlen Silver is seeking two contract Data Analysts for a hybrid role in Redmond, WA. These positions focus on collecting, processing, mapping, and analyzing data to support a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system implementation, including data cleanup, validation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data loads and actionable insights.

Position Details

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Lead and Work Stream Lead with Bills of Material, Parts, and related documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify data requirements and business objectives
  • Validate and verify data for multiple PLM data loads
  • Support data cleanup by submitting requirements and coordinating with IT for PLM and ERP integration
  • Execute data cleanup and maintenance following IT processes for mass data updates
  • Create reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable guidance
  • Develop documentation control methodologies to support the PLM tool
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems
  • Automate data processes and improve reporting efficiency where feasible
  • Extract and analyze data to support informed, critical decision-making
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • Degree in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
  • 1–3 years of related experience in a business environment
  • Experience implementing and configuring PLM systems; Windchill experience preferred but not required
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Professional presentation skills and strong interpersonal communication abilities
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL)
  • Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
  • Experience working in PLM or other collaborative environments
  • Effective task management with prioritization skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, efficient, and process-oriented
  • Strong work ethic and a team player mindset
  • Tactful with independent judgment and discretion
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
  • Strong judgment and time management capabilities
  • Ability to independently write, review, and implement work instruction content in support of new systems and processes
