Industrial AI Engineer
Job Description
Build production-ready Industrial AI for real manufacturing environments with Siemens in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. This onsite role supports the development and scaling of Industrial AI solutions designed to improve manufacturing performance, from model development through deployment in live factory workflows.
As an Industrial AI Engineer, you will work with time-series shopfloor and MES/IT data to create data-driven decision-making capabilities, deploy models into operational settings, and validate results using production data and feedback. You will also help drive adoption on the shop floor by partnering across teams and external stakeholders to standardize repeatable deployment patterns.
What you’ll do
- Develop and deploy AI models targeting industrial and manufacturing challenges using data-driven insights and decision-making.
- Design AI solutions using time-series shopfloor data and MES/IT data, aligned to real operational processes and needs.
- Perform data preparation and feature engineering, and build models that effectively utilize contextualized industrial data.
- Deploy AI models into real factory environments, ensuring reliable performance under real-world conditions including data variability, latency, and integration with operational workflows.
- Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Data Architects, System Architects, software developers, and factory teams to ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, and integrated into industrial systems.
- Work with external partners to support implementation of standardized Industrial AI solutions.
- Continuously validate and refine models based on production data and feedback to deliver measurable improvements in operational performance and business outcomes.
- Lead scaling across plants to enable repeatable deployment patterns and contribute to organizational standardization of Industrial AI capabilities.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience developing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or automation domains.
- 2+ years programming in relevant languages such as Python, R, or Java and common AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, with hands-on experience building and testing ML models.
- 2+ years experience deploying and validating AI models in industrial or production environments.
- 2+ years experience in cross-functional, customer-facing teams and adapting solutions to evolving requirements.
- 2+ years experience working with data-driven systems in operational or industrial environments.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to be with customer teams during critical deployment activities.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical industrial applications.
- Experience piloting, validating, and refining AI solutions in production manufacturing settings using production feedback.
- Familiarity with Industrial AI platforms and ecosystems, including Siemens solutions such as Senseye and Industrial Edge, or comparable AI/IoT platforms, along with industrial automation systems, OT/IT integration, and cloud-based AI deployment.
- Knowledge of data preparation, feature engineering, AI model evaluation, and compliance, safety, and regulatory requirements for AI in industrial environments.
- Experience managing multiple projects and workstreams in a deadline-driven environment, including performance monitoring, model drift mitigation, model refinement, and scaling.
- Ability to share deployment learnings and collaborate with factory teams to drive continuous improvement and adoption.
Location: Grand Prairie, TX (onsite). Salary: USD 83,966 - 143,942 per year.
