Job Description

Lonza is seeking a Site-based LIMS Data Analyst 2 to support Quality Control and manufacturing operations in Portsmouth, NH (onsite). In this role, you will help ensure technical accuracy and data integrity within the global Laboratory Information Management System (gLIMS) by setting up, loading, and maintaining key master data used across the quality workflow. You will work closely with local QC, Manufacturing, and global IT stakeholders to align site execution with enterprise standards, supporting compliance in a cGMP-regulated biotech/pharma environment.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build, configure, and initially load required master data into gLIMS, including consumables, sampling plans, specifications, parameter lists, test methods, and LES templates.
  • Perform local data cleansing to maintain master data quality, accuracy, and adherence to global guidelines and data principles.
  • Create clear local work instructions that document how global gLIMS processes are executed at the Portsmouth site level.
  • Work in accordance with cGMP guidelines and maintain working knowledge of Quality System workflows, including deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and OTNs using TrackWise.
  • Collaborate with local Quality Control, Manufacturing Operations, Validation, and the global gLIMS project team to establish ongoing local data management support.

What you bring

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in a science-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Entry level (0–4 years) experience in Quality Control (QC), enterprise systems, or validation within a cGMP regulated biotech/pharma setting.
  • Hands-on proficiency using LIMS or similar laboratory data management systems, with emphasis on master data loading and setup.
  • Understanding of QC lab operations, including sampling plans, parameter lists, and computer system/equipment validation concepts.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, plus experience with quality tracking tools such as TrackWise.
