Job Description

Adobe is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer in San Jose, CA to apply AI and machine learning to big-data challenges across the customer lifecycle. In this onsite role, you will help build predictive and optimization-focused models, along with scalable algorithms designed to run in production.

What you’ll work on

  • Use AI and machine learning methods to address big-data problems that support how Adobe understands, leads, and optimizes the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with business units to build products that address complex business needs across the customer lifecycle, from customer analytics to marketing media optimization.
  • Apply statistical and econometric methods, including predictive modeling, experimental design approaches, and optimization techniques to research and develop projects such as attribution, media mix modeling, budget optimization, personalization, causal analysis, and time series analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop predictive models on large-scale datasets using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and analytics techniques.
  • Develop and implement scalable, efficient modeling algorithms that can work with large-scale data in production systems.
  • Work with product management and engineering teams to develop new products and features.

What you need

  • PhD or MS in Computer Science, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, Operations Research, Econometrics, or equivalent experience; expected graduation date: December 2026 to June 2027.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in relevant skills.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, or data mining concepts, with a track record of solving problems using these methods.
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Scala, Java, or C.
  • Familiarity with one or more machine learning or statistical modeling tools: R, Matlab, or scikit learn.
  • Knowledge and experience working with relational databases and SQL.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship skills, with a strong team player mindset.

Salary: USD 102,400 - 202,250 per year
