Palantir Data Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton is hiring a Palantir Data Engineer to join the Defense Technology team in Baltimore, MD. This onsite role centers on Palantir Foundry AIP for defense analytics and data engineering, delivering actionable results for clients. The position offers a salary range of USD 77,600 to 176,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support complex data exploration and analytics projects for defense clients using Palantir Foundry and related workflows.
• Introduce innovative methodologies that translate into real world impact for protecting military personnel.
• Apply data engineering, data science modeling, and technology integration to develop solutions that advance the mission.
• Lead a team delivering end to end support for critical missions.
• Guide clients and stakeholders in interpreting data and driving actionable results.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing applications with Palantir Foundry AIP
• Experience with Python or TypeScript
• Experience with Data Connections and Code Repos or Pipeline Builder for data ingestion and transformation
• Experience with Foundry application and workflow development in Workshop and Ontology Manager
• Experience working with Agile software teams, conducting code reviews, and implementing DevSecOps practices
• Experience with Git repositories, CI/CD workflows, or infrastructure automation
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
