Process and Business Analytics Engineer

The Product Development Process & Digital Solutions Lead at Segula Technologies focuses on standardizing the Product Development Process (PDP) and improving digital tools used by engineering and business teams. This role bridges cross-functional business goals with technical requirements, so new workflows are clear, supported, and adopted across the organization.

Working onsite in Auburn Hills, MI, you will help harmonize engineering workflows, translate requirements into decision-ready materials, and support deployed applications used by teams across Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain.

What you’ll do

• Partner with Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain to define standardized engineering workflows and application features.
• Write Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), maintain current and future-state process maps, and manage change requests through the application lifecycle.
• Create ROI calculations, cost/benefit evaluations, and risk assessments to support process and tool enhancements and funding decisions.
• Design and deliver interactive training, including live software demonstrations, coaching, and documentation for engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Provide day-to-day user support, troubleshooting, and system administration for deployed applications.
• Convert complex engineering and technical requirements into clear decision frameworks, executive summaries, and presentation materials.
• Facilitate alignment across matrixed teams, suppliers, and departmental leads to resolve process bottlenecks and drive tool and workflow adoption.

What you bring

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and work independently in fast-paced technical environments.
• Strong foundational understanding of core engineering processes, product development, manufacturing operations, or technical business systems.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and technical communication skills in English, with highly proficient use of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or Business Administration (MBA).
• Hands-on experience with core PDP frameworks: DFMEA / PFMEA / DVP&R / DFSS; CAD/CAE environments (NX, CATIA V6, Teamcenter); Sourcing, Validation, Testing, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
• Business Intelligence & Analytics experience (Power BI, Data Engineering, Data Science).
• Experience with App/Web Development, GUI design, or macro/scripting generation.
• Enterprise tool experience including SharePoint, K2, MS 365, Teamcenter.
• Familiarity with corporate finance terminology, budget tracking, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to lead peers and suppliers, navigate organizational change, and present effectively to all levels of management.
