Test & Evaluation Analytics Engineer

NavitasPartners is seeking a Test & Evaluation Analytics Engineer to join our onsite team in Joliet, Illinois. This role sits at the intersection of aerospace engineering and data analytics, supporting developmental and operational testing through data analysis, reporting, and visualization. The position offers $40 per hour and emphasizes hands-on work with flight test data to drive performance improvements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) activities
• Analyze flight test and mission data to assess system performance
• Develop post-flight analytics and performance reports
• Build dashboards and visualization tools to derive insights from test data
• Support verification and validation (V&V) of mission systems and software
• Detect anomalies, trends, and performance gaps in test data
• Collaborate with engineering teams, test pilots, and mission groups
• Contribute to continuous improvements of testing methodologies and analytics processes

Requirements

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
• Understanding of test and evaluation processes (DT/OT)
• Experience working with flight test or mission data
• Ability to interpret complex datasets and translate into actionable insights
• Strong communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
