Job Description
Boca Raton, FL onsite role focused on building governed analytics and AI-ready data products.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain semantic models and curated datasets that turn business logic into reusable, governed data products for self-service analytics and AI consumption.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines and dataflows for scalable, performant analytics across Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure, and Databricks.
- Prepare clean, structured datasets for AI Agentic workflows.
- Partner with citizen developers and business stakeholders to confirm analytical requirements and ensure semantic models meet usability, accuracy, and compliance expectations.
- Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) within semantic models to support authorized data access and organizational policy compliance.
- Create and run testing and validation strategies to verify accuracy, reliability, and consistency of transformations and analytics outputs.
- Use analytics engineering best practices including modular design, version control, and code documentation.
- Document business logic, data transformations, and model structures using technical documentation, data dictionaries, and metadata catalogs, supporting data lineage and feature clarity for generative AI and predictive modeling.
- Design and implement automated workflow and orchestration strategies to streamline model deployment and ensure timely, reliable data availability.
- Coordinate with contractors and internal teams on data architecture, modeling standards, and delivery timelines.
- Support adoption of self-service analytics by enabling business users and ensuring data products are intuitive, well-documented, and aligned to user needs.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or business intelligence development.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power BI, including experience building and optimizing semantic models and dataflows.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and modern data architecture principles.
- Strong understanding of data governance, row-level security (RLS), and metadata management.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (example: Git), and data orchestration tools (example: Azure Data Factory, dbt, or similar).
- Proven ability to translate complex business logic into scalable, reusable data products.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
