The Applied AI Engineer role at MiView Integrated Solutions focuses on delivering production-grade AI-powered analytics, forecasting, anomaly detection, and decision-support capabilities across AI/ML, data engineering, and backend domains. This onsite position is based in Carrollton, TX.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain AI powered analytics and reporting solutions
- Create workflows, agents, and reasoning pipelines using large language models
- Enhance AI accuracy, reliability, and observability across systems
- Develop evaluation frameworks for AI generated outputs
- Implement retrieval augmented generation, function calling, and structured-output architectures
- Monitor and mitigate hallucinations and model failures
- Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to define AI testing strategies
- Develop forecasting models for business metrics and operational performance
- Build anomaly detection systems to identify data quality issues and operational risks
- Create predictive models to anticipate trends and outcomes
- Build explainable AI tools to help users understand model predictions
- Evaluate and improve model performance using industry best practices
- Design and optimize data models and analytical queries
- Build scalable ETL and data processing pipelines
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability
- Work with large structured datasets to generate business insights
- Collaborate on KPI, reporting, and analytics frameworks
- Develop and maintain Python services and APIs
- Build reliable integrations between AI systems, databases, and business applications
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning
- Support deployment and monitoring of production AI systems
- Develop computer vision and image analysis solutions
- Automate issue detection from inspection photos
- Apply predictive maintenance and risk scoring approaches
- Contribute to recommendation systems
- Design multi-agent AI workflows
- Support advanced analytics and forecasting platforms
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 3+ years of Python development experience
- Proven experience building production software applications
- Strong SQL skills with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar
- Experience working with Pandas and data processing workflows
- Experience developing APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals
- Experience working with large datasets and analytical systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
