Easter n Bank, Wakefield, MA (onsite), seeks a junior to mid-level AI Engineer with a salary range of USD 72,214 to 110,000 per year.

Design, implement, and sustain AI agents and automated workflows across the bank using Claude, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Power Platform, and SharePoint.
Develop scalable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and robust prompt-engineering architectures.
Prototype and productionize AI solutions to streamline day-to-day operations across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map business processes, identify pain points, and uncover automation opportunities.
Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs.
Act as a trusted technical advisor for embedded AI initiatives across business divisions.
Develop and optimize retrieval systems, prompt architectures, and agent workflows to improve accuracy and effectiveness.
Evaluate AI solutions using user feedback, performance metrics, and business outcomes to drive improvements.
Assist in establishing governance for enterprise AI tools, including access management, usage policies, and documentation.
Promote responsible AI practices with emphasis on data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Support administration and enablement of AI platforms across the organization.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
1-4 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, or a related technical role.
Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) and enterprise cloud or collaboration platforms.
Hands-on experience with AI and LLM platforms such as Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or equivalents.
Experience with prompt engineering, AI agents, and agent frameworks.
Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Copilot, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 development or administration tools.
Experience building integrations via APIs, Model Context Protocol (MCP), data pipelines, and related integrations.
Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI practices, and enterprise AI administration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business solutions.
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple teams.
Experience in financial services or other regulated industries is a plus.
