Senior Data Scientist (Operations Readiness) at Lockheed Martin, owner of the Are We Ready readiness tool, responsible for analytics, metrics, dashboards, and cross-disciplinary integration within Production Engineering. This on-site role is based in Marietta, Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Enhance analysis and reporting capabilities for the Are We Ready (AWR) tool
- Revise and develop metrics across the organization
- Design and implement dashboards to monitor KPIs
- Capture Production Engineering process lifecycles and identify improvements
- Coordinate with Production Engineering Central Services (PECS)
- Lead integration efforts across all Production Engineering disciplines to consolidate metrics, measures, and KPIs
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Experience with data science, analysis, modeling, and/or visualization (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
- Experience in operations related business functions such as Prod Ops, Production Engineering, Quality, PP&C, GSC, or Engineering
- Proven ability to independently lead analytics from problem definition to deployment
- Proven ability to develop process documentation for end user support
- Experience interacting with Senior Level Leaders, including creating and briefing presentations
- Ability to work independently and develop a strong support network across organizations

Work Schedules
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules to provide flexibility. Schedules range from a standard 40 hours over five days to condensed arrangements, in addition to Paid Time Off benefits.
