FSA Federal is seeking a Data Analyst to support FBI operations in Washington, DC on site. The role centers on data collection, entry, and document management to aid investigations, with a focus on maintaining files, preparing reports, and delivering timely status updates to investigative teams. This position provides a structured path for handling sensitive information within a national security context.
Responsibilities
- Collects, analyzes, and organizes information from multiple sources to support case work.
- Ensures information is complete and resolves inconsistencies across materials.
- Inputs required data accurately into databases, documents, or spreadsheets.
- Establishes and maintains physical files for case documentation.
- Tracks case file status to ensure adherence to established deadlines.
- Coordinates requests for additional information as needed to advance investigations.
- Selects relevant information from diverse sources to prepare documents, reports, summaries, and responses, ensuring accuracy and proper formatting.
- Performs word processing tasks related to the case file.
- Provides accurate and timely status updates to team members and stakeholders.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED; an undergraduate degree is preferred.
- Ability to understand the customerโs organization and functions.
- Meticulous data-entry skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Capacity to review, interpret, and evaluate complex legal and non-legal documents.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions carefully.
- Solid organizational and prioritization skills.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and other common software, including databases; intermediate skills preferred.
- Proven commitment to delivering excellent customer service with a positive, flexible approach.
- Ability to work in a team environment and maintain a professional demeanor.
- This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a minimum background investigation of seven (or ten) years.
