AI Engineer

Infosys is hiring an AI Engineer in San Ramon, CA (onsite) to design and develop scalable, high-quality, optimized solutions and deliver production-ready code. The role includes building and refining implementation through debugging, prototypes/POCs, testing support, and knowledge transfer.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and use cases to ensure accurate understanding for production-ready delivery.
• Contribute to defining design specifications and technology frameworks, and assist in creating reusable assets that improve productivity for complex technology projects.
• Deliver high-quality, optimized, and efficient code across applications and databases, including engaging in debugging complex routines and building automation.
• Support the team in maintaining a robust technical environment and ensuring error-free coding.
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and assist with reverse engineering methodologies to support transition activities.
• Assist in deploying solutions for future projects by developing initial prototypes.
• Facilitate adoption of emerging technologies through POC initiatives aligned to business needs.
• Support implementation of technical services to meet quality of service (QoS) requirements.
• Contribute to development of reusable assets with a focus on productivity improvement and resolving critical production issues.
• Interface with customers during warranty support to ensure issues are fixed in a timely manner.
• Address technical issues during testing to maintain a reliable, production-ready codebase.
• Help mitigate risks by identifying them and supporting timely resolution in coordination with the team.
• Fix issues during testing phases to ensure clean, error-free releases.

• Compensation: USD 86,000 - 130,000 per year
