Job Description

Autodesk is hiring an Analytics Engineer for its Forecasting & Revenue Intelligence team within Revenue Operations. This role focuses on building reliable datasets that power forecasting, reporting, and revenue intelligence by transforming sales, subscription, and hierarchy data into dbt models on Snowflake.

Working with Revenue Operations partners, you will help ensure published numbers are reproducible, data stays consistent over time, and dashboards and weekly forecast packs reflect reconciled source truth from systems like Salesforce and Finance.

What you’ll do

  • Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake that bring together Salesforce, subscription, billing, hierarchy, and forecast data into clean, documented datasets
  • Model data for analysis using a clear grain, stable keys, and definitions aligned with the shared metric dictionary
  • Keep historical records so any published number can be reproduced as it existed on the day it was released
  • Maintain mappings between accounts, territories, sellers, and sales hierarchy as the organization changes
  • Reconcile datasets to Salesforce and Finance, investigating and resolving differences
  • Develop the datasets that support the weekly forecast pack, business reviews, and leadership dashboards
  • Add and maintain tests and monitoring for freshness, completeness, and accuracy, fixing issues when they occur
  • Translate data issues and trade-offs into plain language for sales and finance partners, then align on a solution
  • Work in version control using code review and continuous integration

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI development, with experience building models others rely on
  • dbt in production, with tests and documentation integrated into your workflow
  • Strong SQL skills, including window functions and incremental models, in a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake
  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce data model, including accounts, opportunities, line items, and ownership
  • Ability to explain a data problem to a non-technical stakeholder and reach a shared decision

Tech stack

  • SQL, dbt, Snowflake, Salesforce
  • Python, Airflow
  • Power BI, Tableau
  • Sigma, Clari, Gong, Aviso

Location

Denver, CO (remote). United States remote role with Central or Eastern time zone preference.
