Associate Data Analyst
Job Description
Zoomph is building tools that help teams turn social and broadcast performance into clear, actionable insights. As an Associate Data Analyst, you will help support platform-driven delivery by leveraging the Zoomph platform to analyze ad-hoc and standing requests, develop repeatable analysis methods, and present results to stakeholders.
This remote role is a strong fit if you enjoy connecting data quality and system behavior to real outcomes. You will work across channels, teams, media outlets, and properties to quantify KPIs, spot meaningful trends, and help customers and internal partners use the platform more effectively.
What you’ll do
- Use Zoomph to quantify social media and broadcast KPIs across channels, teams, media outlets, and properties
- Identify and interpret social media trends from the post level through campaigns and series
- Analyze results and communicate insights to internal and external stakeholders
- Recommend, prioritize, and develop client and sponsor industry benchmarks
- Collaborate with Customer Success colleagues to recommend social media content strategies that help platform clients maximize partnership value and attract new sponsors
- Examine data quality, applications, and functions
- Produce output and sustain ongoing operation of required processes
- Contribute to new product development and improvements in product delivery and presentation
- Use and support database applications and analytical tools
- Use timely, appropriate participation of users and customers in data collection and query systems
What you bring
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis (1-3 years as a data analyst)
- Experience in marketing, communication, digital strategies, and data analytics
- Ability to interpret data trends and patterns as they relate to the organization
- Strong business, data, and statistical acumen
- Well-versed in both technical knowledge and strategic thinking
- Experience designing databases and data systems
- Self-starter who develops appropriate methodologies for collecting, analyzing, and presenting data products
- Comfortable communicating and resolving problems, including pointing out system or process issues and engaging the team in problem solving
- Must be able to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
- Must be able to talk, hear, see, and type
- Willing to travel to conferences and/or events as needed
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or a related field
