Responsibilities
- Create consumable data products, including analytical data models, curated tables, metrics, and visualizations that help others explore trends, ask questions, and apply data in decision-making
- Enable reasoning by others through well-designed warehouse models and clear data visuals
- Build and maintain data warehouses and data marts, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency across the platform
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python, Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, and AWS Redshift, with monitoring for performance and data integrity
- Establish and enforce robust data quality checks and monitoring systems to proactively identify and resolve data issues
- Develop and maintain source-of-truth reports and dashboards for key business metrics, ensuring consistency across reporting channels
- Develop deep expertise in key datasets and data models to support reliable analytics
- Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data products
- Serve as a trusted advisor to analytics customers on data-related strategy and best practices
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an analytics engineer, data analyst, or a similar role
- Ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python and R
- Experience with data pipelining and ETL/ELT processes
- Experience with data modeling and dimensional modeling
- Experience with data visualization (Streamlit, Plotly, Shiny)
