AI Engineer

AI Engineer role focused on shipping AI-enabled software and production backend services.

• Design, build, test, and deploy software applications that use AI capabilities to improve productivity, automation, and user experience
• Use AI-assisted development tools (for example: GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar platforms) for coding, debugging, refactoring, documentation, and test generation
• Integrate AI services, LLM APIs, and third-party platforms through well-designed, secure, and maintainable APIs
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with emphasis on scalability, reliability, performance, and clean engineering practices
• Apply prompt engineering, workflow automation, and AI orchestration to deliver practical AI-enabled features for business users and software teams
• Evaluate and apply modern AI platforms, developer harnesses, and agentic coding workflows to accelerate delivery while maintaining code quality and security
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into AI-enabled software solutions
• Support CI/CD, version control, testing, monitoring, and deployment practices for AI-enabled applications and services

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, including exposure to AI-enabled development workflows or AI-powered application features
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages: Python, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, or similar
• Practical experience with AI coding tools or platforms such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or comparable developer assistants
• Experience designing, consuming, and integrating RESTful APIs, third-party services, cloud services, or LLM APIs
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices: Git-based workflows, testing, CI/CD, code review, documentation, and secure coding
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new AI development tools

Compensation

• Base salary range: $210,000– $250,000 USD per year
• Eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus
