CharterUP is seeking an early career Data Analyst to support its Finance BI team with reporting and analytics that inform leadership decisions. The role focuses on delivering reliable insights through data collection, analysis, dashboard development, and clear communication to non-technical stakeholders.
Role Overview
As a Data Analyst on the Finance BI team, you will collect and analyze data, build dashboards and reports, and present findings to guide business strategy. You will also work with cross-functional partners to support data-driven initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and spreadsheets for both one-off requests and recurring reporting.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategy and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key business metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven projects and initiatives.
- Conduct statistical analysis and model data to predict future trends and performance.
- Present findings, recommendations, and insights clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.
- Master’s degree in one of the following fields: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Data Science, Quantitative Finance, or Computational Finance.
- 1+ years of industry experience as a Data Analyst.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms (plus qualification).
- Experience with data manipulation, cleaning, and transformation techniques.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Compensation
$70,000 - $75,000 USD per year.
Work Location
