Data Engineer

This role supports Global Payments’ Business Intelligence & Data Solutions team by designing and delivering scalable data warehouse and BI capabilities that turn complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver scalable business intelligence solutions that provide stakeholders with actionable insights for faster, more informed business decisions.
• Help evolve data warehouse architecture by creating reliable, high-performing data foundations that support improved reporting accuracy, efficiency, and business visibility.
• Support strategic outcomes through data storytelling and analytics that surface opportunities, address complex business challenges, and enhance operational performance.
• Lead continuous improvement by identifying enhancements to data processes, technologies, and reporting capabilities that create long-term business value.
• Build enterprise-wide data confidence and adoption by delivering trusted business intelligence products that improve decision-making and strengthen stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting data warehouse and business intelligence solutions in a complex business environment.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including Transact-SQL (T-SQL), SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Ability to analyze business requirements, convert them into scalable data solutions, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong problem-solving skills to evaluate complex data challenges, recommend effective solutions, and drive results independently.
• Collaborative, growth-focused mindset with experience partnering with stakeholders, sharing knowledge, and influencing positive change through data.
