Risk Adjustment Analytics Data Scientist supports risk adjustment initiatives through analytics, data quality assessment, actuarial analysis, and predictive modeling.
Responsibilities
- Conduct exploratory analytics including data profiling, KPI analysis, filtering logic, and cohort segmentation, providing analytical support to validate business questions.
- Analyze very large datasets to identify outliers and compute utilization rates across multiple geographies.
- Provide advanced actuarial analysis support to help clients research, design, and demonstrate innovative models and demonstrations.
- Carry out predictive data analyses to forecast utilization or enrollment seasonality.
- Evaluate data quality standards with project leadership to define what constitutes a highβquality dataset, checking referential integrity, conformity to expected values, and completeness.
- Present findings and analyses clearly to project teams and client leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance.
- 8+ years of experience in data science, data analysis, or data engineering functions.
- 5+ years of advanced Python experience for data manipulation and analysis.
- 5+ years of experience with Databricks for data engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in Medicaid/Medicare analysis, rules, and compliance.
- Ability to travel 10-15% on average, based on client needs and engagements.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
