Application & Data Analyst
Job Description
InterLink Relocation Resources is hiring an in-house Application & Data Analyst to own the Equus mobility platform, deliver reporting and analytics, and maintain the company website on WordPress.
Responsibilities
- Provide first-line support for internal Equus users, including questions, issues, access, and resolution tracking.
- Own user provisioning plus roles and permissions.
- Handle basic configuration within granted permissions, including workflows, templates, and fields.
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate to the Senior InterLink Engineer, then to Equus as needed; track cases through to resolution.
- Test and communicate releases; create internal how-to guides and train staff.
- Build reports in the Equus report builder by selecting tables, relationships, filters, and calculations.
- Validate report output against business expectations and investigate data quality issues at the source.
- Create reports and dashboards in Excel, with Power BI if adopted.
- Build and maintain the marketing scorecard dashboard using Google Analytics, Search Console, HubSpot, and ad platforms.
- Produce anonymized data analysis supporting published cost research.
- Use AI tools to speed reporting, documentation, and troubleshooting, while verifying output before others rely on it.
- Find and pilot AI uses that save the team real time.
- Build and publish every page and post on the site from a written brief, including copy, layout, URL, page title and description, headings, internal links, images, schema, and forms.
- Turn a standard page around within one business day of receiving the brief.
- Build event pages (about 28 events per year, with more in 2027).
- Apply scheduled core, plugin, and theme updates; confirm backups run and know how to restore from backups.
- Complete site improvement tasks after routine maintenance, including internal linking, page speed, schema coverage, and retiring dead pages.
- Report to the Senior InterLink Engineer for anything technical (first escalation point).
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years supporting or administering business software (SaaS platform, CRM, ERP, or similar).
- Ability to understand record relationships across tables and write or read basic SQL well enough to build accurate reports.
- Experience built and published web pages in WordPress (not only editing text).
- Work accurately from written specifications and ask when details are unclear.
- Learn a complex system from documentation with minimal hand-holding, with evidence of taking notes.
- Write clearly enough to explain systems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Use AI tools in real work and be able to explain how output was checked.
- From day one: WordPress hands-on (building pages, managing media and plugins, updates, backups).
