Job Description

Motion Recruitment is building analytics capabilities to support a growing robotics fleet, and this role serves as a key technical anchor for the BI and analytics infrastructure. You will help shape how data turns into dashboards, metrics, and decision-ready reporting, with a focus on reliability, long-term data quality, and clear analytical communication.

As the BI Data Engineer, you will lead end-to-end work across design and deployment of analytics products, partner across teams, and set standards that keep dashboards healthy over time as reporting needs evolve.

Responsibilities

  • Build scalable dashboards
  • Define new metrics
  • Ensure long term data quality and pipeline reliability as the robotics fleet grows
  • Lead end to end design and deployment of analytics products
  • Establish team wide SOPs for dashboard health, including version control, automated data validation, depreciation strategies, and access controls
  • Collaborate cross functionally with Data Scientists, Des, and product managers
  • Run foundational statistical deep dives to audit robot efficiency and system health
  • Write high impact whitepapers and analytical deep dives that guide leadership on future design and roadmap decisions

Requirements

  • BI ownership and experience, including leading end to end design and deployment of analytics products
  • Experience establishing team wide SOPs for dashboard health, including version control, automated data validation, depreciation strategies, and access controls
  • Cross functional synergy with Data Scientists, Des, and product managers
  • Applied Machine Statistics experience, including running foundational statistical deep dives to audit robot efficiency and system health
  • Ability to write high impact whitepapers and analytical deep dives that guide leadership on future design and roadmap decisions
  • SQL & Data Modeling
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting systems, such as AWS QuickSight and Tableau
  • Experience identifying new data sources and building basic ETL pipelines
