Business Engineer - Manufacturing Data Analyst
Job Description
Join ASML in Wilton, CT (onsite) to help enable data-driven decision making in manufacturing. In this Business Engineer - Manufacturing Data Analyst role, you will turn production and product performance data into clear, actionable reporting, supporting long-term business objectives while improving quality, maintainability, and automation of analytical solutions.
What you’ll do
- Manage stakeholders across internal customers and internal suppliers, translating customer demands into concrete requirements.
- Develop quality reports that make factory process performance transparent, delivering actionable insights by agreed timelines.
- Collaborate across sectors to define, develop, and implement structural reporting aligned to business goals.
- Perform data-driven analysis to identify patterns in product deviations.
- Focus on customer experience, maintainability, and automation in analytical solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior team members.
- Apply strong influencing, presenting, and project management skills while further developing analytical and business perspective.
- Bring creative and unique points of view to tasks, with flexibility and trust in how you tackle problems.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, OR
- Master’s degree in the same fields with no prior professional experience required.
- Experience with IT-systems in production-control, preferably including Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI (Excel, SAP, SAP ME/BO, SAP HANA), and SQL.
- Ability to read and interpret data, information, and documents.
- Strong customer focus with commitment to prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy; strong analytical skills and ambition to continue developing.
- Proven effectiveness in a demanding environment with changing workloads and deadlines.
- Result-driven approach with ownership and accountability; ability to identify bottlenecks and drive improvements.
- Work independently or with a team, following through with minimal supervision.
- Open, clear, concise, professional communication and ability to build cooperative relationships.
- Ability to work according to strict procedures within provided timelines.
- Growth mindset and ability to learn and apply new information or skills.
- Ability to observe and respond to people and situations and interact professionally with others encountered in the course of work.
Preferred background
- Advanced analytics experience (e.g., Process Mining, Machine Learning, AI, Imagine recognition) and/or Industry 4.0 concepts (e.g., Digital twin, IoT, predictive/prescriptive manufacturing).
- Internal stakeholder management experience (plus).
- Manufacturing or semiconductor industry experience, including ASML experience (plus).
- Experience working with Scrum / Agile (advantageous).

Work setup and physical requirements
- Onsite role within Office.
