Clinical Quality Data Analyst
Job Description
Franciscan Health is seeking a Clinical Quality Data Analyst to support quality patient care through practical data analysis. In this onsite role in Michigan City, IN, you will collect and validate departmental and operational measures, build and maintain databases, and use reporting to inform quality improvement efforts, committees, and accreditation and certification support.
What you’ll do
- Collect and record departmental data and key operational measures used for quality and performance tracking
- Verify the accuracy and validity of source data before analysis
- Maintain, revise, and develop system databases that support performance improvement opportunities
- Prepare and report trended data to appropriate forums and stakeholders
- Perform data and information collection from multiple sources, which may include chart audits, internally and externally derived reports, regulatory entities, and other external agencies as assigned
- Validate externally reported data against internal source data
- Analyze data to support multidisciplinary teams evaluating quality outcomes across medical departments and sections, nursing systems, and ancillary clinical services
- Support quality committees and subcommittees as assigned, including preparation, reporting, recording, and correspondence activities
- Use the appropriate software and statistical database programs needed to complete job duties
- Provide support to Quality department functions as assigned, including assistance with accreditation and certification requirements
- Offer support and expertise in other areas as directed
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, or Business (required)
- EPIC Report Writing & Sequel Certificate (preferred)
- 1 year working with frail and elderly (required)
- 2 years IT, Healthcare Administration, or Business Analyst experience (required)
- 2 years proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related tools (required)
- Auto insurance (required)
- Driver’s license (required)

Schedule and location
- Location: Michigan City, IN 46360 (onsite)
- Practice hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Travel required: Up to 50%
