Data Analyst

The Data Analyst role at Sage Automotive Interiors supports data-driven reporting and analysis for customer-facing deliverables, while also assisting the IE Manager with standard costing development and implementation. The position focuses on data quality, cost updates, and routine collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in a hybrid work environment based in Abbeville, SC.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all aspects of the Sage Safety Process
• Travel between plant(s) as needed
• Generate, update, and distribute data reports and presentations for management
• Provide Certificate of Analysis (COA) Data based on customer requirements
• Use statistical tools and software to interpret and analyze data
• Identify and resolve issues related to data quality and accuracy
• Update, monitor, and alert manufacturing teams with trends and patterns from product or process data sets
• Participate and/or lead daily and weekly calls with internal and external customers and team members
• Filter and clean data to support reporting
• Work closely with lab associates, PPAP & CAPA coordinators to assist with data requests
• Update SKUs and bill of materials as needed
• Support efforts to verify cost accuracy for new and existing products
• Update and maintain cost charts and reporting as needed
• Update product costing in JOMAR to support locations without an IE, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications

• Microsoft Excel (Intermediate) including Excel functions and chart creation
• Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate) including PowerPoint and Word
• Ability to communicate with all areas of the company and with outside customers
• Self-starter with demonstrated time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Excel (Advanced) including Excel functions, Power Query, and PivotTables
• Working knowledge of the JOMAR ERP system preferred, or ability to learn
