Job Description

UCHealth is hiring a Data Analyst to serve as a key technical resource for grant-related data management, evaluation, dashboard development, and performance reporting across active grants. This hybrid role in Aurora, Colorado supports data extraction and validation across electronic health record and operational systems, including required SAMHSA reporting and ongoing performance improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and implement tools for data collection, analysis, reporting, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and business customers to create and track performance metrics, including quality and cost savings.
  • Produce routine and ad-hoc reporting to assess performance and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Support system analysis, updates, and changes within the scope of the job.
  • Use critical thinking and decisive judgment while working with minimal supervision.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

How the work supports grant and program outcomes

The role focuses on extracting, reconciling, and validating data from electronic health record and operational systems. Responsibilities include developing dashboards and performance reports, documenting data definitions and validation rules, and monitoring grant outcomes and fidelity measures to support required SAMHSA reporting and implementation quality improvement.

Working closely with the Program Director, Quality Evaluator, implementation teams, and operational leaders, the Data Analyst helps advance system-wide suicide prevention and substance use disorder initiatives through data-driven decision making, outcome evaluation, and continuous performance improvement.

Required qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree in a related field. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years of data analysis work experience.

  • Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
  • Hybrid option: This position may offer a hybrid option.

Pay

  • Rate: $31.61 - $47.41 per hour
  • Note: Pay depends on the applicant’s relevant experience.
