Data Analyst
Job Description
Data Analyst role supporting clients on the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) team by turning structured and unstructured data into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Apply technical expertise and an analytical mindset to support client and stakeholder relationships
- Research, develop, and test data methodologies while generating cross-functional solutions across the collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets
- Contribute to mission-impactful work and support decision-making across multiple organizations
- Use communication and data analytics experience to simplify technical requirements and trends based on the audience
- Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using databases and scripting languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Define quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support technical outcomes
- Deliver data visualization in multiple formats including graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides
- Create data-centric solutions to strengthen both communication and technical skills
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with IT analysis, requirements, and business process improvement
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) models and tooling
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Apps, Automate, and BI) and how a model-driven app can support business process improvement

Compensation
- USD 62,000 - 141,000 per year (annualized USD)
- Projected compensation range: $62,000.00 to $141,000.00
