Data Analyst (Dashboard Developer)

Guidehouse Inc. is seeking a Data Analyst (Dashboard Developer) to support Federal Government organizational and mission goals through analytics delivery and dashboarding. This onsite role in Arlington, VA focuses on building Tableau-based visualization solutions, keeping dashboards reliable, and applying data cleaning and workflow improvements to support operational and strategic decision-making.

What you will do

• Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions that deliver required analytics insights using Tableau.
• Lead and review data cleaning scripts using Databricks, SQL, and Python.
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools used for operational and strategic decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for workflow optimization, automation, and improved data handling, and contribute to implementation efforts.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver AI/analytics use cases, translating business needs into scalable data science solutions.
• Provide client services while also supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
• Support business development activities, including RFP, RFQ, and RFI responses and white papers, along with internal firm initiatives and professional development.

Required qualifications

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD “PUBLIC TRUST”.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related STEM field.
• 1 year or more of experience in business analytics, data analysis, data engineer, data visualization, or data science.

• Tableau, Databricks, SQL, Python, Power BI, Snowflake, Impala, R

Nice to have

• Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Experience gathering requirements and presenting to clients with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with dashboard tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Impala.
• Experience performing analytics and data transformation using SQL, Python, and R.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data integration.

Compensation and location

Salary range: $98,000.00 to $163,000.00 per year.
Location: Arlington, VA (onsite).
Travel required: None.
