Job Description

As a Data Analyst, Lead at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will support USCENTCOM’s data lake environment for machine learning and artificial intelligence development campaigns. This client-facing role focuses on analyzing structured and unstructured data to help translate data meaning into actionable impact for warfighters.

Working onsite at Macdill AFB, FL, you will collaborate with stakeholders and intelligence-focused teams to design data approaches, define performance measures, and communicate findings through clear recommendations and visualizations.

What you’ll do

  • Use data analytics expertise to support client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Research, develop, and test data methodologies, and deliver cross-functional solutions across collection, interpretation, evaluation, and analysis of large data sets.
  • Guide decision-making across multiple organizations by contributing to impactful work.
  • Apply communication skills to simplify technical requirements and trends for different audiences.
  • Present data findings and recommendations using databases, scripting languages such as SQL, Python, or R, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to support technical outcomes.
  • Create data visualizations using formats such as graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.
  • Build communication and technical skills by creating data-centric solutions for a premier Joint Combatant Command.

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience designing algorithms and data manipulation capabilities using R, Python, or SQL.
  • Knowledge of identifying new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Ability to develop data pipelines and integrate data tools and solutions that enable self-service frameworks for data consumers to monitor and report on data.
  • Ability to collaborate with intelligence and data analysis teams to produce qualitative and quantitative data supporting intelligence products.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science field.

Compensation

  • USD 77,500 - 176,000 per year

Work model
