Job Description

Join Booz Allen’s Navy Supply Operations team as a client-facing mid-level Data Analyst supporting Navy Fleet readiness on an onsite basis in Millington, TN.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand questions and needs, then investigate data-rich environments to identify relevant information.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client data to support analysis and decision-making.
  • Interpret information for clients and recommend how insights can be applied to impact education, resources, trainings, and policies that help sailors make career-forwarding decisions.
  • Support Booz Allen in using data insights to inform large-scale business and process decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional work experience.
  • Experience presenting data findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders using databases and scripting languages.
  • Experience preparing customer data for models, including merging and aggregating, handling anomalies, balancing, and feature selection.
  • Experience defining quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive technical outcomes.
  • Experience applying data visualization using graphs, tables, and PowerPoint slides.
  • Ability to research, develop, and test data methodologies.
  • Ability to support client and stakeholder relationships; conceptualize directions; analyze trends; and develop justifications for Navy leadership decisions.
  • Ability to simplify technical requirements and trends for varied audiences using communications, validation, and research to support impact.
  • Secret clearance (required).
  • HS diploma or GED.

Nice If You Have

  • Knowledge of building and maintaining workflows, visualizations, and other Premium Microsoft Services databases in Microsoft enclaves and ADVANA, Jupiter, or BOLT enclave, including Databricks, Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI.

Clearance

  • Selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Secret clearance is required.

Compensation

  • Projected salary range: USD 61,900 - 141,000 per year (annualized USD).
  • Salary is determined by factors including location and the individual’s combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, plus contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
  • This posting closes within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Work Model

  • Onsite: work primarily performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, with collaboration required by the role.
