Data Analyst – Supply Chain & Logistics

Alchemy Global Solutions is expanding its Bloomington, Indiana on-site team with a Data Analyst focused on supply chain and logistics. This entry-level role centers on preserving data integrity, optimizing processes, and partnering across departments to turn data into actionable decisions that drive daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and automate recurring reports and dashboards that underpin daily supply chain and logistics activities.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, reports, and workflows.
• Support inventory management, transportation performance, warehouse operations, and demand planning through data-driven insights.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, finance, and IT to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
• Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turns, transportation cost metrics, and warehouse productivity.
• Assist in root-cause analysis for operational issues and help develop corrective action recommendations.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and analytical methodologies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools
• Proficient with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
• Ability to work with large datasets and maintain a high level of accuracy
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical audiences
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly

Work Environment
