Data Analyst – Supply Chain & Logistics
Job Description
Alchemy Global Solutions is expanding its Bloomington, Indiana on-site team with a Data Analyst focused on supply chain and logistics. This entry-level role centers on preserving data integrity, optimizing processes, and partnering across departments to turn data into actionable decisions that drive daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and automate recurring reports and dashboards that underpin daily supply chain and logistics activities.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, reports, and workflows.
- Support inventory management, transportation performance, warehouse operations, and demand planning through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, finance, and IT to understand reporting needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Monitor KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, inventory turns, transportation cost metrics, and warehouse productivity.
- Assist in root-cause analysis for operational issues and help develop corrective action recommendations.
- Document reporting processes, data definitions, and analytical methodologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft tools
- Proficient with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms
- Ability to work with large datasets and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to translate data into clear insights for non-technical audiences
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift quickly

Work Environment
This role is based on-site at our Bloomington, IN facility, where you will closely collaborate with operations teams to understand real-time challenges and support data-driven decision-making.
