Data Analytics Engineer (contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance or active participation in moderately complex initiatives within the Business Execution domain, contributing to large-scale planning of related deliverables.
• Assess moderately complex Business Execution challenges requiring thorough evaluation of multiple factors.
• Assist in resolving moderately complex issues and collaborate with colleagues to meet Business Execution deliverables, applying knowledge of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel within the Business Execution area to align on goals and outcomes.

Requirements

• Authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Design and maintain Power BI dashboards delivering actionable insights for technology, risk, and governance stakeholders.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, validation, and reporting.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes using Power Query and ETL methodologies.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and process improvements.
• Create and manage user stories, requirements, and development activities within Jira for ServiceNow development.
• Provide ongoing support, enhancements, and continuous improvement for reporting and analytics solutions.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Strong data visualization skills.
