Data Engineer/System Architect

Sandoval Technology Solutions LLC is hiring a Data Engineer/System Architect to help design and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure in San Antonio, TX (onsite). In this role, you will build reliable data foundations, improve system performance, and connect data across the stack using modern engineering tools.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines to process and store large volumes of data.
• Develop and maintain data architectures, data models, and metadata systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data systems and deliver data-driven solutions.
• Optimize and tune data systems to improve performance and reliability.
• Implement security measures that protect data integrity and privacy.
• Keep current with trends and technologies in data engineering and system architecture.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as a Data Engineer or System Architect.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL development, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, plus big data technologies including Hadoop and Spark.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
