Job Description
Noblis ESI is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to support Intelligence Community missions from an on-site location in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities
- Work with classified-source data and statistical software packages to uncover patterns and relationships in large datasets
- Use cloud services and AI/ML technologies to support data-driven discovery
- Analyze and interpret large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights
- Explore, model, and refine data to identify patterns and features of interest
- Design, build, and train machine learning models
- Collect, curate, and process large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
- Research, implement, and document analytical approaches and outcomes
- Use high-performance computing resources, including GPU clusters and cloud-based platforms
- Apply data visualization to communicate results to stakeholders (e.g., Tableau)
- Build and manage model lifecycle
- Contribute to mission capabilities including knowledge management, search optimization, and AI LLM knowledge bases
Requirements
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph
- US Citizenship required
- Education and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience, OR
- Associate’s degree with 6 years of experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED with 9 years of experience
- Proficiency with data science tools and technologies: Python, SQL/PostgreSQL, Spark, and Git (NiFi is a plus)
- Experience analyzing data in Python
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
- Experience or knowledge with machine learning, statistical modeling, and/or time-series forecasting
- Experience or knowledge working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
- Experience or knowledge working with open-source and classified datasets
- Demonstrated ability to clean, manage, and optimize large-scale datasets
- Fundamental understanding of AI techniques and ability to match techniques to problems
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively in verbal and written form for a variety of audiences

Desired Qualifications

Compensation
- Salary range: USD $90,700.00 - USD $141,775.00 /Yr
