Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly reports for product managers, project managers, and business line owners
- Track and measure performance metrics for product and project teams, establishing KPIs to assess decision impact and track progress
- Build and interpret performance reports, metrics, and dashboards for product lines and teams to gauge efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability
- Analyze margins to optimize spreads by risk tier and pricing
- Monitor product profitability and utilization
- Analyze financial data and develop models to support decisions
- Partner with product managers on market research and analyze financial trends and forecasts
- Identify opportunities for process improvements by creating standard and ad hoc reports, tools, and dashboards
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results to plans and forecasts
- Provide trend and forecast analysis with actionable optimization recommendations
- Assess marketing campaign effectiveness for penetration and profitability
- Evaluate products at all stages of the product life cycle
- Support users with data mining, report generation, and data analysis across multiple data sources, including loan origination systems, eBranch, remote deposit capture, online and branch account openings for deposits and consumer loans, and digital channels such as video banking
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process and product optimization
- Departmental Ownership: own analytics for a specific department (examples include Digital Experience, Risk Management, Lending, Member Assistance, Operations, Branch Operations, or Card Services) and provide tailored insights and reports to meet that department’s goals
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or Data Science
- 0 to 2 years of lending experience preferred
- Strong math skills and solid computer proficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to maintain the confidentiality of Credit Union and member records
