Director of Analytics and Planning- Marketing
Job Description
The Director of Analytics and Planning- Marketing at West Shore Home leads marketing planning, forecasting, and budget alignment for the company’s network of 40+ branches in Mechanicsburg, PA. Reporting to the VP of Marketing Planning and Analytics, this role partners across Marketing and FP&A to build models that connect marketing spend to appointments, sales volume, and company Net Sales targets.
In this position, you will oversee Divisional Marketing Managers and help shape performance expectations through data-driven forecasting and continuous improvement of the marketing budgeting and target-setting process.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the primary interface between Marketing and FP&A, supporting the Marketing team by creating and managing marketing forecast models.
- Collaborate with senior marketing leaders to define overall marketing strategy, budget plans, and performance expectations.
- Use historical marketing performance to build long-term budget plans and forecasts, showing spend and appointments per day by product vertical at each branch location.
- Adjust marketing source spend by adding or reducing spend levels as needed to keep spend close to budget and aligned with appointment targets.
- Build data-driven forecasts to predict the appointment and sales volumes expected from the marketing plan, based on historical performance data.
- Train and develop Divisional Marketing Managers so branch-level marketing budgets are managed effectively, targeting sales outcomes at the lowest possible marketing cost.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with forecasting and modeling for performance-based marketing.
- Bachelor’s Degree (required).
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. West Shore Home does not and will not sponsor employment visas.
- Proven experience building and executing efficiency improvement plans to streamline marketing budgeting and target-setting through automations.
- Previous experience using AI and ML in performance modeling and forecasting (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (required), including significant analysis and data structuring.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and performance forecast modeling using analytics platforms such as Databricks and Power BI (required).

Purpose of Position
As Director of Analytics and Planning- Marketing, you will manage marketing planning, forecasting, and budget alignment processes for all branches (40+) with the goal of improving ROI on marketing spend and achieving company Net Sales targets. The role reports to the VP of Marketing Planning and Analytics and oversees Divisional Marketing Managers.
