EW Data Analyst / Test Engineer

Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Ltd. is seeking an EW Data Analyst / Test Engineer (SE-3) to support Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) efforts at 46 TS/TGBB, Eglin AFB, FL. In this onsite role, you will connect field test execution with data reduction and engineering analysis to help validate performance and support solution development.

Role Focus

• Support the design, planning, and execution of comprehensive test events for C-sUAS technologies
• Reduce and analyze raw test data to assess system performance against technical requirements
• Translate findings into engineering insights, recommendations, and documentation for stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Participate in test event design, planning, and execution for C-sUAS technologies
• Collect, process, and reduce large volumes of raw test data into usable formats
• Analyze complex data sets to assess performance against technical requirements
• Develop data-driven conclusions and actionable recommendations for performance anomalies and system improvements
• Author formal test reports, briefings, and technical documentation for engineering teams and stakeholders
• Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware/software developers, and program managers to align test objectives with program goals
• Support test teams in lab and field environments to ensure accurate data capture and reliable test execution

Requirements

• US citizenship
• Active Secret; must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI and SAP access
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field plus at least 3 years of relevant experience (experience may substitute for education)
• 3–10 years of relevant technical experience
• Past DoD cybersecurity experience is required
• Experience in both test engineering and data analysis roles
• Demonstrated ability to reduce and analyze complex test data
• Experience with test equipment and analytical tools
• Required certifications (choose one): CEH, CFR, CGRC, CompTIA Cloud+ (Cloud+), GSEC, CompTIA PenTest+ (PenTest+), or SSCP

Technical Skills and Tools

• Experience executing test events, performing data reduction, and conducting analysis
• Ability to analyze complex test data sets and generate engineering insights
• Experience with test equipment, data acquisition systems, and analytical toolsets
• Strong technical writing skills for test plans, procedures, and formal test reports
• Analytical programming languages including Python, MATLAB, and R (preferred)
• Experience with DoD testing frameworks and standards (preferred)
