Job Description
Join Raytheon in Dallas, TX to support the Advanced Airborne Sensor (AAS) program within RTX’s Airborne Multi-Mission Integration and Test division. This onsite role focuses on developing, integrating, testing, and analyzing software systems, including tools development and mission data analysis and dissemination.
In this position, you will help deliver mission products from local and customer operations, strengthen reliability through root cause analysis, and coordinate across software teams, customers, and vendors to ensure successful outcomes. What you’ll do
- Develop software tools that collect and disseminate mission products from local and customer operations.
- Convert written tasks into code, perform software root cause analysis, and apply analytical and critical problem-solving skills to resolve complex challenges.
- Collaborate with experts to tackle difficult problems and coordinate cross-functionally with customers and other vendors to achieve successful results.
- Work with software teams building tools for local operations testing and analysis for both local and customer software development.
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts using system data results for local testing and customer systems worldwide.
- Conduct mission processing data analysis and dissemination for multiple government and partner contract company analysts.
- Support testing, validation, and integration activities.
Basic qualifications
- 5+ years supporting AAS software, system development, integration, or testing.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred).
- Experience utilizing SELinux.
- BASH scripting skills, including writing and debugging scripts.
- JAVA, CSS, HTML and webpage development experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Security clearance and eligibility
- DoD Clearance: Top Secret
- Active and existing security clearance required on day 1
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date
- U.S. citizenship required (only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance)
Salary range: $86,800 USD - $165,200 USD per year.
Onsite note: Employees in onsite roles will work primarily onsite at the Raytheon North Texas location in Dallas, Texas.
