BCG X is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to help build and deploy the next generation of AI solutions.

Own the full analytics value-chain end to end: frame new business challenges, design innovative algorithms, implement and deploy scalable solutions, and enable colleagues and clients to embrace AI
Build next-generation AI solutions as part of a rapidly growing engineering team
Partner with clients across BCG regions and industries to design, build, and deploy innovative solutions, including work on climate change topics
Develop and deliver thought leadership in scientific communities and contribute to papers
Lead conferences on behalf of BCG X

Apply software development practices and standards to create robust and maintainable software
Be involved in every part of the software development life cycle
Experience guiding non-technical teams and consultants in best practices for robust software development
Optimize and enhance computational efficiency of algorithms and software design
Motivation for a fast-paced, service-oriented environment with direct client interaction on new features for future product releases
Enjoy collaborating with teams to share software design and solution ideas
Natural problem-solver and intellectually curious across a breadth of industries and topics
Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of your home office
Any degree programs (including part-time) must be completed before starting at BCG

Estimated salary range: USD 120,000 - 200,000 per year
First-year base compensation by level:
- Forward Deployed AI Engineer I: $120,000 USD
- Forward Deployed AI Engineer II: $155,000 USD
- Forward Deployed AI Engineer III: $171,000 USD
- Senior Forward Deployed AI Engineer: $200,000 USD
