Job Description

Leoforce is seeking an Industrial Data Analytics Engineer to translate manufacturing data into actionable insights that guide operational decisions. This permanent, onsite role in McElhattan, PA partners closely with IT and operations to strengthen data governance, analytics infrastructure, and data-driven decision making. The position offers an annual salary range of USD 85,000 to 90,000.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain relational databases to store data and support data mining initiatives.
  • Conduct data warehouse analysis and testing, addressing debugging and tracking issues through to resolution.
  • Interpret raw data to derive insights and deliver actionable recommendations to business stakeholders.
  • Create and deploy data collection systems and related strategies to improve statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Apply statistical methods to interpret data and analyze results.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize information needs and business requirements.
  • Build dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Pentaho, or comparable tools.
  • Automate workflows and processes with Power Automate or equivalent platforms.
  • Develop governance protocols and oversee data governance to safeguard data integrity and privacy.
  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns within complex data sets.
  • Partner with the IT team to define data infrastructure requirements and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least five years of experience in a data analytics role, with manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS SQL Server, MySQL, and MS Access.
  • Experience analyzing raw data and producing reports with data visualization tools like Tableau or Pentaho.
  • Solid knowledge of data infrastructure and data warehousing principles.
  • Experience using Power Automate or equivalent tools for automating tasks.
  • Strong analytical abilities with capacity to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large datasets with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, translating raw data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of presenting data to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Experience handling sensitive data with discretion and ensuring privacy.
  • Proficiency in querying, report writing, and presenting findings.
