Job Description

Lead the end-to-end delivery of machine learning and data solutions, applying MLOps and DevOps practices to productionize models and cloud-based tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and other data solutions aligned with business requirements and technical specifications
  • Direct model development including training, validation, optimization, and fine-tuning to support high performance and accuracy
  • Set strategic direction for high-quality, maintainable, scalable code
  • Create and maintain technical documentation covering model development processes, deployment workflows, operational procedures, code comments, design documents, and user manuals
  • Provide MLOps leadership through CI/CD pipeline development for reliable model deployment
  • Guide and automate testing across development, integration, deployment, and management of software solutions to improve quality and security in line with industry standards and company policies
  • Partner cross-functionally with data scientists, business analysts, software engineers, IT operations, QA testers, and project managers to translate business needs into production-integrated technical solutions
  • Deliver ongoing solution support including incident and problem management, root cause analysis, request fulfillment, security compliance, fault repair, resiliency testing, and observability
  • Stay current on advances in machine learning and MLOps, and investigate innovative approaches to improve the organization’s ML capabilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience: at least 9 years of software development
  • 6+ years of experience in AI, ML, MLOps, and/or software development
  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices, with emphasis on MLOps and DevOps
  • Proficiency with software development tools, platforms, and languages, with emphasis on cloud platforms
  • Proven experience developing, integrating, testing, and deploying software solutions for cloud-based or internet-related tools
  • Expert knowledge of relational databases and SQL
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience developing microservices and in-depth knowledge of integration patterns
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Location: Cleveland, OH (remote)

Compensation: USD 127,939 - 165,732 per year

Experience level: 6+ years

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
