Manufacturing Data Analyst
Job Description
Use data to support manufacturing and laboratory operations through scheduling, reporting, and system reliability in a fully onsite role.
Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and maintain manufacturing and laboratory data to support day-to-day operations
- Build reports, dashboards, and KPI views focused on resource utilization and scheduling decisions
- Spot data gaps and discrepancies, then coordinate corrective actions with process owners
- Assist with system configuration, data migration, and user training for LIMS and related tools
- Document workflows and create SOPs to support consistency and compliance
- Use analytical tools to automate repeatable tasks and support better decision-making
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, computer science, manufacturing technology, information systems, or a closely related field (required)
- Full-time onsite availability in North Kingstown, Rhode Island; must be local or within commuting distance
- Hands-on experience in a laboratory, chemical production, or manufacturing environment
- Strong skills in data handling, documentation, and problem-solving
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and structured data systems
- Effective communication and collaboration across technical and non-technical teams
